About Me

I am a versatile digital media professional and journalist passionate about storytelling, content creation, and strategic communication. With experience spanning digital marketing, journalism, and editorial leadership, I thrive at the intersection of compelling narratives and audience engagement.

I craft SEO-optimized content, manage social media campaigns, and develop job postings that connect businesses with top talent. My work as Features Editor at The South End allows me to delve into in-depth reporting, interview industry experts, and ensure high editorial standards for feature stories.

Previously, I honed my storytelling skills as Sports Editor and Staff Writer for The Mirror News. I produced award-winning sports journalism, meeting tight deadlines while leveraging Google Trends and Google Keyword tools to enhance my writing process. Additionally, my role as a Communications Intern at Humanities 101 deepened my understanding of advocacy-driven content, particularly in amplifying the voices of those with autism.

Beyond the newsroom, I have a track record of creative content development—from blog writing at Orb Solutions to crafting engaging graphics and marketing materials using Canva.

I bring a keen editorial eye, a strong foundation in media strategy, and a passion for engaging storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences. As I complete my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at Wayne State University in April 2025, I am eager to continue leveraging my writing, digital marketing, and content strategy skills to make a meaningful impact in the media industry.

“You can make anything by writing.”
